Question 1

How much does Talkuza cost?

Accepted Answer

One plan: ₹199/month in India, $2.99/month worldwide. Buy 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time (custom up to 12 months). All prices are all-inclusive — no GST, no hidden fees.

Question 2

What is a redeem code?

Accepted Answer

A single-use code (like TALKUZA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) issued when you pay. Enter it in the Talkuza app with your email and your subscription starts instantly for the months you bought. Paid codes are email-locked to the email they were issued to.

Question 3

What happens when my subscription expires?

Accepted Answer

Paid features lock and the app shows an expiry screen with a box for a new code and a button back to Pricing. Redeeming a new code while time remains stacks the duration — you never lose remaining days.

Question 4

Can I use one account on multiple Macs?

Accepted Answer

Yes — up to 3 Macs per account. If a 4th Mac tries to sign in, remove an old Mac from your Account page first.

Question 5

How do I pay from India?

Accepted Answer

Choose UPI / Cards at checkout (₹ INR). If the gateway isn't connected yet, the page says so honestly — use Lightning Mode (free) or another crypto wallet instead.

Question 6

What is Lightning Mode?

Accepted Answer

TronLink's zero-fee instant crypto payment. Checkout shows a QR code, the exact amount, and the receiving address. Scan it in TronLink (free of cost) or pay the same address from any Lightning/crypto wallet. Confirmation takes seconds and your code is emailed immediately.

Question 7

Can I pay with USDT or another coin?

Accepted Answer

Yes — on-chain wallets (USDT TRC20 and others added in Admin) are available at checkout. Each order gets a unique exact amount (e.g. 2.9901 USDT) so your payment matches automatically within the 30-minute window.

Question 8

Is there really no fee on Lightning Mode?

Accepted Answer

Correct — sending and receiving through TronLink Lightning Mode carries 0% platform fee, and Talkuza runs no Lightning node, so there's no channel or liquidity cost either.

Question 9

Which Macs are supported?

Accepted Answer

macOS only — Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel Macs. Download the matching DMG from the Download page.

Question 10

Do I need a Groq key?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Talkuza is BYOK-only. Add your own Groq API key (free at console.groq.com/keys) in Settings → APIs, plus your Fish Audio key for read-aloud. Without a key, dictation doesn't run and the app shows the setup flow.

Question 11

How do I start the free trial?

Accepted Answer

Start it from the Pricing page or inside the app — 7 days free, one trial per Mac ever. The app verifies your Mac and emails the trial code. A Mac that already used a trial can't get another.

Question 12

How do updates work?

Accepted Answer

The app checks for updates on launch and every 6 hours. When a new version ships, it shows what's new and what's coming next, downloads in the background, and asks to relaunch — never mid-dictation.

Question 13

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

No. All sales are 100% final and non-refundable — Talkuza delivers an instant digital redeem code and immediate software access. There is no refund button, API, or status anywhere in the service.

Question 14

My code never arrived — what now?

Accepted Answer

Check spam first, then contact support with your order number (TKZ-…). We'll re-send the code or fix the delivery. Delivery problems are fixed; completed purchases are not refunded.

Question 15

What if my payment failed?

Accepted Answer

A failed payment issues no code and charges nothing — that's not a refund, it's a failed payment. Try again or use another method.
