Talkuza for Mac

MCP Sync

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets your AI tools read your Talkuza notes and dictations — so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Gemini answer with your context, not just their training data.

How it works

Talkuza runs a small MCP server on your Mac. Your AI app connects to it locally — your notes never go to Talkuza's servers, and the connection only works while Talkuza is running on your Mac.

Set it up (all four apps)

  1. Open Talkuza → Settings → MCP Sync → On.
  2. Copy the MCP server command shown there.
  3. Paste it into your AI app's MCP settings (per app below), approve, and you're done.

Claude

  1. Open Claude → Settings → Connectors / MCP.
  2. Add the Talkuza MCP server with the command shown in Talkuza → Settings → MCP.
  3. Approve the connection. Your Talkuza notes and dictations become searchable context.

What the AI can see

  • Your Talkuza notes, dictations, and Echo Notes summaries — only what you allow in Settings → MCP → Shared content.
  • It cannot see your API keys, your redeem code, or anything outside Talkuza.
  • Turn MCP off any time in Settings — connected apps lose access immediately.

Troubleshooting

  • “Server not found” — make sure Talkuza is running. The MCP server lives inside the app.
  • Empty results — check Settings → MCP → Shared content: at least one source must be enabled.
  • Stale context — restart the AI app after adding new notes; most apps cache MCP tools at launch.
